Afternoon – Kampot Pepper Farm, Secret Lake & Salt Field
Begin your journey with a guided tour through Kampot’s picturesque countryside:
Kampot Pepper Farm
Visit a local organic pepper plantation, home to the world-famous Kampot pepper, protected by Geographic Indication (GI). Learn about the cultivation process and the difference between black, red, and white pepper.
Secret Lake
A peaceful man-made lake surrounded by rice fields and hills—originally built during the Khmer Rouge era. A great spot for relaxing photos and learning about local irrigation and agriculture.
Salt Fields
Explore the shimmering salt pans of Kampot, where salt is still harvested by hand during the dry season. Learn about the traditional process and local livelihood connected to the salt industry.
Day 2: Kampot Heritage & Countryside Tour
Morning – Bokor National Park Exploration
After breakfast at downtown, enjoy a scenic drive up the Bokor Mountain Plateau, part of Preah Monivong National Park.
Old Catholic Church (1928)
This atmospheric, abandoned church once served French colonists. Today, it’s a powerful symbol of Cambodia’s colonial and war history.
Bokor Palace Hotel (1925)
Once a luxurious retreat for French elites, this now-empty hotel is a fascinating relic of colonial architecture with sweeping views of the coast.
Lok Yeay Mao Monument
A spiritual statue dedicated to the protector spirit of travelers. Local pilgrims often stop here to pay their respects.

A tranquil two-level waterfall, especially beautiful in the rainy season. Enjoy a short nature walk and the fresh mountain air.
